First of all, we would like to thank you for checking us out and showing your interest in us! We are Upstate Paranormal Investigation Society located in Easley, South Carolina. Our team consists of seven members who all have had experience in the paranormal field, whether it be experiences or research. During the fall 2008, Justin, decided to start the team up, at the time known as Piedmont Area Paranormal Research Agency. The team did a few local locations, when Justin became very ill and a few other issues arose, so the team decided to stop all remaining investigations until everything became ok and Justin got better. 2009 rolled around and the team was back together and became known today as Upstate Paranormal Investigation Society! During the transition, we lost a couple of members and we gained a couple of members, but we came back stronger than ever. With the new year, came all new equipment and all new investigations as well as great times. The team has had quite the opportunity as we have traveled all the down to the beautiful South Carolina coast in Orangeburg, as seen to your right and traveling back up to Brevard, North Carolina for a location in that area. We all are like family and take pride in our relationships as a family. We didn't get into this field because we want to be famous, we didn't get into this field because we want to get on t.v. and become the next t.v. paranormal investigators, and we definitely didn't get in this field to play investigator just for the title. We got in this field because we want to know the truth. We want to know whether the haunting at hand is real or if it's just the imagination playing games. It has been a passion for each team member (under direct quote of all members) every since they realized something was there, something not of the living, which with some, was at a very young age.
